Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland is a model and actress. Her feature film debut was a small part on her debut role in the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Later she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan donnevan starred part of A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte played Taffin (in 1998) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody started modeling after being offered by an experienced photographer. When she was spotted by the director of casting in a James Bond movie, she was cast in A View to a Kill as Jenny Flex. Another early movie was a small part in the role of IRA Siobhan Doovan, a member of the IRA in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) that was a film starring Mickey Rourke. Doody appeared as Archibald Craven in his dreams in the 1987 version from The Secret Garden. She played Lilias. The storyteller's episode Sapsorrow was her first lead part. The episode aired in 1988 with Dawn French, John Hurt and Jennifer Saunders. The actress starred alongside Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathiser and a archaeologist for forensics in the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody was in the film with Sean Connery, who played Indiana Jones' father. Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries, a British mini-series that was inspired by Hitler Diaries. She subsequently relocated to Hollywood. The role she played was Flannery on the screen in Major League II, opposite Charlie Sheen. Doody made her acting comeback in 2003, playing a small performance as a character in the British comedy film The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at the awards ceremony. The roles she played include a TV movie version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004, a booklet about the Holocaust, and a short film called Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. in 2010 Doody was a character of Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). Doody was a guest on RTE's medical drama The Clinic. The project was eventually canceled. In 2011, she started the first season of two in the E4 comedy drama Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson.
