Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958 in very poor circumstances. Her mother, who was a failing actor and schoolteacher, sold cars while her dad was an automobile salesman. Jennifer was the second child in a four-child family, was often at her mother's theater performance and was awestruck. When Jennifer was five years old the divorce of her parents took place. Jennifer was a part of her childhood living in British Columbia when her mother was able to move there with four children. Jennifer was not able to get a good education, despite being a talented kid. When she was a kid Jennifer often became targeted by bullies at Canadian schools. When her passion for theater waned, she began acting in plays in support of her mom. The mother of all her children to acquire a passion for the arts. After that, she immediately began to take action.
