Paula Paula PaulaPaula Patton is an actress and producer well-known for her starring roles in the action-spy film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the film drama Precious. When she was a child, Paula Patton was raised in a Los Angeles middle-class household. The family was led by a mother, who was a fan of movies. Paula participated in co-curricular programs at her school and enjoyed drama. Paula loved playing the role of an actor along with her fellow students and also participated in stage performances at her school. After performing in a variety of shows at her high school, Hamilton Magnet Arts High School, she decided to make acting her career. She attended the University of Southern California in a summer program and thoroughly delighted in her stay. She was awarded a three-month project creating documentaries for PBS. Her career began as a production assistant for TV when she completed the three-month project. After that, she began producing documentaries. Her work was a joy, but her dream was to be an actress.
