Sierra Sierra Megan MeganGale when she was 18 years old, won at the age of 18 a Perth modeling competition. After a few modeling seasons, Gale gained fame in 1999 when Omnitel Italy (now Vodafone Italy) cast Gale to appear in commercials. Gale continued to be included in ads for the company until 2006. It was the Australian Tourist Commission also hired Gale in 2003 as the "face of Australia" in Italy. Gale was featured on covers for Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. She has also appeared in Italian Maxim and Australian InStyle. Gale was included in editorials for Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia and Italian GQ. Gale has collaborated with Italian designers, including Gianfranco Fere Genny And Gai Mattiolo, and at the fashion shows of Mariella Burani, Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. Gale has also been a supporter of Australian fashion designers such as Colette Dinnigan and Kirrily Johnsonston. Gale made a return to fashion runway during March of 2011 to complete the Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011. August 2011 marked Gale's 10th anniversary as a designer with department retailer David Jones, the longest run fashion contract in Australia. This same month Gale was named ambassador for L'Oreal Paris, joining Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Gwen Stefani. Gale made an appearance in a L'Oreal shampoo commercial in Australia, New Zealand and Italy.
