Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin on the 26th of June, 1966. She is from an affluent family. She was the third child in the family. The nunnery she attended was one of the most prestigious where she developed an appreciation in the arts. In the following years, she was a student at Dublin's National College of Fine Arts in Dublin however, she left because she had a lack of motivation. She thought that she'd take a break for a time to make sure she got her feet on the ground. In a cafe with her fellow students in a caf an artist approached her and asked if she wanted to model. The model agreed because she could use the money for pocket money. It was soon clear that modeling could be both rewarding and entertaining. She had the opportunity to travel around the globe for her commercial business after securing modeling contracts. After watching her performance it was suggested to pursue modeling. The director sent her to London when she was 19 in which she was able to win an audition to play in the upcoming James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). The passion for acting has led her to study it as a career. The first film she appeared in was followed by two more of TV dramas filmed in London as well as Dublin. However, her breakthrough came in 1989 as she played her role as the Aryan Seductress Dr. Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Alison Alison Alison
